Sony-Ericsson-Xperia-Active-Specs
Sony Ericsson had recently announced a smartphone for people who are active, mostly sports oriented. The Xperia Active has a nice sporty look and the best part, it is water-proof. The handset will be a the first of a kind Android smartphone that can take on water and dust and the touch-screen has the ability to respond to wet fingers.

The HTC Flyer is a 7” tablet running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the latest version of HTC’s popular Sense UI. Despite running the phone version of Android the performance is snappy and even apps designed for smaller phone screens still scale pretty good. IT has a 1.5 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM so it can handle all of your web browsing needs (including Flash) with relative ease. Best of all it features a special technology called HTC Scribe that gives you a pressure sensitive stylus perfect for signing documents or taking notes in class.

2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1:-
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is everything a great Android tablet should be. It runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb the tablet version of the popular Android platform and has a dual core processor and 1 GB of ram. Performance on this thing is just great, it handles HD video playback easily and the super PLS display looks amazing. Best of all it’s the slimmest and lightest tablet on the market so far.

3. The Apple IPad 2 3G

The Apple IPad 2 3G is far and away the most popular tablet on this list and love it or hate you can’t deny that’s it’s certainly a compelling option for anyone thinking of buying a tablet. It runs the latest version of Apple’s IOS and despite a few issues like a lack of flash support it incredibly snappy and the least buggy tablet available. The other big advantage the IPad 2 has is apps. There are currently over 100k tablet specific apps available for download and no other tablet OS can come anywhere near that number.

ACCESS POINTS OF ALL OPERATORS FOR DATA CARDS

For connecting unlocked Data cards to internet we need to specify the Access Point Name (APN) of each operator. If the access points is not given correctly then the data cardwill not connect to the internet. Here i am giving theaccess points of all major telecom operators in India. I am also giving the access number which must also be given to connect to the internet. I think this will be helpful for all those who are using datacards to access internet. These access point name can also be used in PC suites to connect to the internet.

The list is given below:-

How the next 4G works and How fast it is

How 4G Works:-
Offering cell phone data speeds several times faster than you're used to, 4G is expected to start heating up the airwaves in the next year or so. As for what 4G is basically, there's nothing simple about 4G expect for the name, which refers to fourth generation cell phones. First-generation cell phones were basic analog units,

based on a scheme that Alexander Graham Bell would recognize. Second-generation cell phones were digital units; third-generation (3G) were fasterdigital units; while fourth generation (4G) opens the door to broadband speeds.
What that means: You could, in theory, watch the cricket match in HD on a 4G phone while downloading email and talking to your gf. In theory. As for how 4G works, the simple answer is OFDM (orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing.)
Translation: the signal is divided into parallel data streams carried over closely-spaced radio sub-channels, to be reassembled at the far end. The approach is already used in certain kinds of WiMAX and Wi-Fi systems, which let you get on-line at Starbucks at a reasonable speed.

How fast is 4G?
The maximum speed is usually given as 100 megabits per second downstream (from the network to you) and 50 megabits per second upstream (back to the network). By comparison, an HDTV signal consumes about 25 megabits per second. But 100 megabits down and 50 megabits up are purely theoretical numbers, cautions Fred Campbell, president of the Wireless Communications Association International (WCAI) in Washington, DC. In the real world you don t reach maximum speeds, because in the real worldyou have trees and buildings anddistance attenuation and movingreceivers and bandwidth limitations, he told TechNewsDaily. Campbell pointed to a network test several months ago by a cell phone carrier whose technicians drove around in cars, averaging 35 mph, to see what data speedsthey could get. Their 4G gear sawaverage download speeds of 6 megabits, while their 3G gear was averaging 1.5 megabits. However, steady enhancements can be expected to gradually drive real-world speeds towards the maximum, Campbell added.

Forget 3G turn towards 4G

Telenor’s chairman Harald Norvik and CEO Jon Fredrik Baksaas announced the opening of world’s northernmost 4G/LTE network in Longyearbyen.

The LTE test launch adds to a number of “northernmosts”  most northerly domestic fiber services, northernmost 2G, 3G, satellite station, and other ground-breaking records.Around 1900, when industrialization and mining industry was starting to take off in the Arctic, Svalbard was increasingly becoming attractive to various nations and great powers.
On May 3, 1911, the Norwegian parliament agreed that a radio telegraph station was to be built on Svalbard. The station was named Spitsbergen Radio and originally built in Green Harbour linking Svalbard to the Norwegian mainland.
The city and the inhabitants of Longyearbyen have, on several occasions, served as a test bed for Telenor’s implementation of technological improvements and new services.
In spite of their remote location, today’s inhabitants of Longyearbyen are taking advantage of the latest in technology in their daily lives – such as interactive IPTV, fiber to the home, Triple-Play, and mobile broadband.
