In order to be able to send a jar file from your nokia s40 phone to other bluetooth enable phone; you will need two applications to perform this action.

[1]. Ucweb browser, versions starts from 6.3, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 7.0.
[2]. BT FILE Manager OR Bluetooth FTP.jar, you can download these apps.

Having got these two apps on your phone you can now be able to send jar applications to 
other bluetooth enable java phone[s].

[1]. The first step is to have jar files downloaded with Ucweb browser on your phone. Do not make any change in the file you downloaded with Ucweb browser. Just leave it in the form it was downloaded to your phone.

[2]. Any time you want to share your app with a friend, just open your BT FILE Manager or bluetoothftp and tell your friend to switch On his own bluetooth. With bt file manager locate the file you want to share on your phone. Mark the file and copy it.

[3]. Then click back option to search for your friend phone. After you have make a connection with him. Locate his folders, and paste the marked file you want to share with him in his application or games folder.

[4]. Now rename the file you have transfered to that phone from _jar to .jar ( from underscore jar to dot jar). That file will then change to the application you expected. At first it reads 'invalid file' or unsupported format file. You do not need to panic when you see this happen, just rename the app to dot jar.

[5]. Switch off your phone for some seconds or 1 minute and switch On again. If you click to open the app and your phone ask you to delete the invalid app. After that your phone will on longer complain about the app again. You can now begin to use the application.

5. It will say "Network active"
6. Press and hold the ALT key (half moon looking key on the lower left side)
7. While holding the ALT key type in MEPE (not case sensitive). You will not see text appear on screen while typing
8. When prompted enter supplied unlock code
9. After entering the code press the jog dial
10. Your phone is unlocked


Blackberry 7100, 7130

1. Turn wireless mode off
2. While on the home screen click the "Tools" icon
3. Go to "Options" menu
4. Select "Settings"
5. Go to "SIM card" then press the jogdial to select it. You should see the phone number and the SIM ID number
6. Type MEPP2 (not case sensitive). You will not see text appear on screen while typing.
Press ALT and 2 simultaneously to get number 2.
7. Enter supplied unlock code
8. After entering the code press the jog dial
9. Your phone is unlocked

Faster Gprs by changing only one setting

 You can get faster gprs in your
mobiles just by changing
one setting. I use nokia
5130 c2 and its an s40 v5 device. It has got
opera mini 4.2 pre installed.
But even when
using paid gprs I was not
able to switch over to the
socket connection mode. I thought it was due
to the make of the phone
i.e s40. However
when I downloaded the
newly released opera mini
6 I could use the socket protocol. Now the
version difference is the
one which helped me
here. Just press #8 in opera
mini and you will get
settings tab, there go to the protocol and
select socket instead of
http and voila you are
done. The pages load in a
jiffy, the browsing is
smoother, the looks are better, the downloads
better and the G or E
symbol does not
deflate. I found more about
socket and saw that we
can't use port and other things and so
hacking it for free gprs
may be difficult. But one
can use the Airtel super ip
trick by downloading the
modded files. Just put 0.facebook.com in the query boxes and you
can use this in
handlers too. Whatever
even if it does not work
for free this trick is
worth trying.

Create a Folder and Name It Depending Upon your RM Version
E.g.: For 6300 as “RM-217”

For 5130 as “RM-495”

Copy you downloaded file (.mcu, .ppm, &.image) to this folder
