10 Cell Phone Radiation Protection Tips

Here are some steps you can take to minimize the effects of cell phone radiation exposure:
  1. Limit use to essential calls and keep calls short. Even a two-minute call has been found to alter the natural electrical activity of the brain for up to an hour afterwards.
  2. Children should be allowed to use the cell phone in cases of emergency only. Because of their developing skulls, the radiation can penetrate much more deeply.
  3. Wear an air tube headset (not regular wired headset).The regular wired headset has been found to intensify radiation into the ear canal. The wire transmits not only the radiation from the cell phone but also serves as an antenna attracting EMFs (electromagnetic fields) from the surroundings
  4. Don't put the cell phone in your pocket or belt while in use or while it is on.The body tissue in the lower body area has good conductivity and absorbs radiation more quickly than the head. One study shows that men who wear cell phones near their groin could have their sperm count dropped by as much as 30 percent.
  5. If using the phone without a headset, wait for the call to connect before placing the phone next to the ear.
  6. Do not use the cell phone in enclosed metal spaces such as vehicles or elevators,where devices may use more power to establish connection. The metal enclosure also acts as a Faraday cage that traps the radiation and reflects it back onto the occupants.
  7. Do not make a call when the signal strength is one bar or less, which means the phone must work harder to establish a connection.
  8. Purchase a phone with a low SAR (Specific Absorption Rate). In other words, a low radiation cell phone. Most phones have an SAR level listed in its instruction manual. The SAR level is a way of measuring the quantity of radiofrequency (RF) energy that is absorbed by the body. The lower the number the better. (Be aware, however, that studies with RF hundreds of times lower than current SAR limits still show biological effects.)
  9. Use a scientifically validated EMF protection device. There are advanced technologies available nowadays that strengthen your bioenergy field and immune system against the effects of EMF. The EMF radiation causes a problem only when the cumulative effects due to repeated exposure weaken the body's ability to repair itself. Even when you don't use the cell phone, 'second-hand' radiation and EMFs from other devices can also cause biological stress, so these types of devices are increasingly becoming essential.
  10. Take nutritional supplements, particularly anti-oxidants SOD, catalase, glutathione, and Coq10. Microwave radiation has been shown to decrease levels of these anti-oxidants in the body. These are substances the body produces to protect itself, and their levels are sensitive indicators in stress, aging, infections and various other disease states. Other supplements you may need are:
    - Melatonin: a powerful anti-oxidant noted to prevent DNA breaks in brain cells. Also effective in preventing kidney damage from cell phones;
    - Zinc: protects the eye from oxidative damage and helps preserve the levels of anti-oxidants in the blood;
    - Gingko Biloba: an herb considered a powerful anti-oxidant which prevents oxidative damage in the brain, eye and kidney. Also helps support the production of SOD, catalase and glutathione;
    - Bilberry extract: preserves vision and reduces oxidative damage to the eyes.

10 Ways to to Protect Yourself from MObile Phone Radiation

With the World Health Organization confirming the fears established earlier, that there is “a possible connection between cell phones and two type of brain tumors: gliomas and acoustic neuromas,” or in simple words: cancer, there is an increasing sense of panic among mobile users. However there are ways that you can protect yourselves from these effects.

The effects start showing on people who constantly use their mobile phones (on an average) for at least 30 minutes daily. So the main precaution you can take is to reduce your phone usage.

Just keep these tips in mind :
  • Reduce phone usage the most you can.
  • Use headphones or hands-free kits, as they keep you away from the radiation emitted by the phones. You could also use the speaker mode while calling.
  • If available use a land-line phone.
  • Text instead of calling.
  • Keep your calls short.
  • Strive for minimal usage in areas having low signal (1 bar) such as rural areas.
  • Don’t allow small children to use mobile phones, unless necessary. Radiation may penetrate deeper due to their skulls still being in a development stage.
  • Don’t cover the area, where the internal antenna is located within your phone (mostly in the middle-back part of your phone), with your hand. When you cover it, the phone emits more waves to find a proper signal. Refer to your phone manual to check the exact position of the internal antenna.
  • Use phones having low SAR (specific absorption rate.) This is ameasure of how much Radio Frequency (RF) energy the body absorbs.
  • Use a 3G phone. There are reports that state that they emit lesser radio waves to the brain.
These are some of the tips you could follow, that will surely help you in the long run.

How to Increase Battery Life in Iphone

One of the most common problems which iPhone users will always experience is an unaccounted loss of battery life. With all of the different, exclusive and superior features that are included on the iPhone, it is no wonder that the battery can drain so quickly. If you want to know about all of the different ways to conserve
your battery life on this phone as much as possible, its certainly important for you to review all of the crucial tips for getting the most time out of it. We have listed below certain few tips that will get a better and longer performance from your iPhone by increasing its battery life.
Battery Life SaveriPhone Battery Life

Screen Brightness
There is no doubt that the brightness of the phones screen plays a huge role in how much battery is drained and how quickly so. You may want to make sure that you conserve as much battery life as possible by tweaking the settings with a little adjustment that will make your iPhone a sort of performer. Once you have browsed your way in through the settings, you may want to make certain that the Auto-Brightness is set to Onand then you will need to turn the brightness at a considerable low level - which may be as possible within reason. You would want to make sure that you can still see what you are doing on your phone. As of course interoperability matters more here
Save iPhone Battery
Turning off Wi-Fi
It is one of the biggest battery hogs (one that goes undetected) when it comes to iPhones i.e the Wi-Fi feature. This is an issue you will want to address as soon as possible if you have one of these phones. When you have the Wi-Fi on all day, you are draining the battery quite a bit. Those who do not need to connect to wireless networks will need to go into the settings from the home screen, you would need to go to Wi-Fiand then make sure it is set to Off. This way you can avoid wasting battery power while you are not using this feature.
Increase Battery Performance
Turning off Push Email
Although it is true that push email can be a great convenience because it allows you to check your email real fast, being forever connected to the internet server to your email account is something that can take the life out of your battery and drain the battery undetected. You will want to make sure that such a service remains activated for only a certain set of time, so you can keep your iPhone from having to recharge repeatedly. In order to do this you will need to go to the settings from the home screen, then to Mail,ContactsCalendars and finally make sure the Push setting is on Off and the Fetchsetting it on Manually.
When you make sure to take all of these precautions with your phone, you will find that it will be much convenient from having to recharge it repeatedly in consistent short duration of time. Those who know how to conserve battery power will get more work done from their iPhone and wont find themselves in a situation wherein they wont have a way to call or text somebody right when it matters the most. Also make sure to have the lock feature on your phone activated when it is at the home screen, because this can be another good battery-saving tip as well.
The above iPhone battery saving tips will guaranteed increase iPhone battery life. They will let you use the iPhone for more amount of time before a necessity for a recharge arises. With an increased battery power life, the performance also increases relatively. This article is specially dedicated for iPhone users.
